Who we are
Nyssara was founded in Bandar Sunway by a small team with backgrounds in computational linguistics and laboratory informatics. The name comes from a local botanical term for a genus of ferns found across peninsular Malaysia — chosen because ferns are cataloguers by nature, preserving structure across long timescales.
The office sits at Sunway Geo Avenue, about ten minutes from Sunway University and the Sunway Medical research cluster. That's deliberate. We built the practice around the kinds of problems that come out of active research environments: too many documents to read properly, instrument data in four different formats, and reports that take longer to write than the work that produced them.
Each engagement runs on a defined scope with a written brief at the start and a documented deliverable at the close. We don't offer open-ended retainers. The three services below reflect what we do well and what R&D teams ask for most often.

We spend 30–45 minutes understanding your current situation. What data you have, what format it's in, what output you need. No commitment at this stage.
Written scope document
We send a one-page scope document setting out exactly what is covered, what is not and how the deliverable will be structured. You review and confirm.
Structured deliverable
The work runs to the agreed timeline. You receive the deliverable with all supporting documentation and, where applicable, a handover session with your team.

Common questions
What happens if we have more than 80 documents to summarise?
The 80-document ceiling is part of the fixed scope for one engagement period. If your library is larger, we can discuss a phased approach — typically splitting the corpus by sub-topic and running sequential three-week engagements. Contact us to outline the full scope before we quote.
Do you work with proprietary or confidential data?
Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before any data exchange. Instrument files and internal reports are handled under that agreement and are not used for any purpose outside the engagement. We work only with the files your team transfers to us and return or delete them at close.
Can the reporting programme run for a smaller team?
The programme is scoped for 10–60 staff. Teams smaller than ten often don't need a formal review workflow, and we'd say so in a scoping call rather than run a programme that doesn't fit. For very small teams, the literature summarisation service or a single data structuring engagement usually covers more ground.
How are the RM prices structured — one-time or recurring?
All three listed prices are one-time project fees for the defined scope. The literature service includes a monthly refresh option that is priced separately if you choose to add it. There are no hidden recurring charges attached to the base engagement.
Do you provide academic peer review or laboratory accreditation?
No. Nyssara's services are B2B advisory and tooling work — we are not an academic journal, a peer-review body or an accreditation agency. The review gates in the reporting programme are internal organisational review steps, not formal external peer review.
Where are you based and do you work with teams outside Selangor?
The office is at Sunway Geo Avenue in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. Working sessions can be held in person locally or via video call. We've worked with teams in Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Nilai and remotely with R&D units based in Penang and Johor Bahru. Geography is not a barrier for the literature and data services.
